Your good friend Jay Crowdus? I knew a Jay Crowdus, also fondly known as "Uncle Bumby" about 30 years ago when we worked in Glacier National Park together. I doubted he was still alive because he was such a terribly driver, an absolute terror really. Maybe his deep and abiding faith gave him a Hindu-like confidence that somethign good (Reincarnation? Heaven?) awaited the faithful. He was a decent guitar player but really distinguished himself as a practical joker. If this is the same Jay Crowdus, I'd love to have his e-mail or mailing address.

I love being your daughter, Papa! I treasure those fun times together as a family in the bedroom, sometimes I wish I could be back there...but I am treasuring these times with my own hubby and daughter now. Love you always!

Thank you friend.

The reality of God-centered parenting can at times seem mythical; something ideal, but definitely not this side of the Kingdom. As one who has come from a home broken by the autonomy of man and the worldviews formed around such an unstable center, I give a pleasant sigh of relief, joy and hope as I go forward knowing that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, behold the new has come!" In Christ all misgivings and mistakes from the past are not determinate factors in how the future of my family is going to look like.

I praise God that in His sovereign timing, he saw fit to bring about godly families for me and others my age to learn from!

I love your family! There have been so many times where I've come in to your house and it sounded like a party only to find out that it was just your kids doing dishes. Your whole family has been a priceless blessing to us.
